Terms of Service

By registering, accessing, or using JomDate (“Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please stop using the Service.

You must be at least 17 years old to use JomDate. JomDate is a dating and couples activity planner intended for adults. By using the Service, you confirm that you meet this age requirement.

JomDate is an AI-powered date and activity planner that suggests places and activities based on your location, budget, and preferences.

Our Service includes:

• AI-powered location-based place search
• Saving and sharing date plans
• Date ratings and personalised recommendations
• Navigation via Google Maps and Waze
• AI Dating Coach — personalised dating guidance and tips

You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials
• All activity that occurs under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorised account use

We reserve the right to terminate your account if you violate these Terms or if we believe such action is necessary to protect other users or our Service.

You may use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes to discover, plan, and share date activities.

You may not:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Deceive, harass, or harm other users
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems
• Scrape or automatically extract data from the Service
• Resell or commercialise any part of the Service
• Transmit spam or harmful content

All content within the Service, including text, graphics, logos, and software code, is the property of JomDate or its licensors and is protected by Malaysian and international copyright law.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without written permission.

Place data within our Service is provided by Google Maps Platform. By using map and place features, you are also subject to the Google Maps Terms of Service.

The Service is provided “as is” without any warranty, express or implied. We do not guarantee that:

• The Service will always be available or error-free
• AI recommendations will always be accurate or suitable for all users
• Place information (opening hours, pricing) will always be up to date

We recommend verifying place details before visiting.

To the extent permitted by Malaysian law, JomDate is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Service, including but not limited to:

• An unsatisfactory date experience based on our recommendations
• Inaccurate place information
• Service interruption or termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access without notice if you violate these Terms.

To permanently delete your account: Profile → Account → Delete Account, or contact hello@jomdate.my.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Significant changes will be communicated via email or an in-app notice at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated terms.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Malaysia. Any disputes will be resolved in the Malaysian courts of competent jurisdiction.
