Privacy Policy

Account information: When you sign in, we receive your name and email address through your authentication provider (Sign in with Apple). Apple may hide your real email address using its private relay feature.

Location information: We request your current location only when you perform a search. Coordinates are used solely to find nearby date spots and are not permanently stored. For analytics, we may store an obfuscated location point (accurate to approximately 1 km).

Usage data: Searches performed, places saved, date ratings, and messages you send to the AI Dating Coach.

Device data: Device type, operating system version, and user identifiers for technical support purposes.

Collected information is used to:

• Provide personalised date spot recommendations
• Process and save your plans
• Authenticate your identity when signing in
• Improve the accuracy of our AI recommendations over time
• Provide customer support
• Perform anonymised usage analytics to improve the service

We do not sell your personal information to any third party.

We share information with the following third parties solely to provide the service:

• Google Maps Platform — to retrieve place data based on your location
• Anthropic Claude — to generate AI recommendations
• Supabase — database storage and user authentication
• Apple — when you use Sign in with Apple to authenticate
• Resend — transactional email delivery

All third parties are subject to their own privacy policies and are not permitted to use your information for any other purpose.

We use HTTPS encryption for all communications. Authentication tokens are stored in hashed form. API keys and secrets are stored server-side and are never exposed to client applications.

No method of data transmission or storage is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Account data is retained for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, all personal information will be removed within 30 days, unless we are legally required to retain it for longer.

Anonymised analytics logs (with no identifying information) may be retained longer for service improvement purposes.

You have the right to:

• Access the information we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate information
• Delete your account and all associated data
• Withdraw location consent at any time via device settings
• Export your data (available on request)

Account deletion removes all personal information including saved plans, search history, and your profile within 30 days.

JomDate is a dating and couples activity app intended for users aged 17 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from users under 17. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take immediate action.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated via email or an in-app notification. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
